Building Queensland’s Climate Tech Industry

Innovating for a climate positive future

Are you ready to start your climate tech journey and make the most out of the opportunities on offer over the next three years?

Rich with natural capital and resources, Queensland is geographically diverse but vulnerable to the effects of climate change. If you are prepared to contribute and be inspired by the possibilities, we have a real opportunity to foster innovation in the climate tech field and make Queensland an absolute powerhouse for climate tech solutions and jobs.

The Queensland Government, through the Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur, Advance Queensland and Trade and Investment Queensland, are partnering  with Climate Salad to grow the climate tech industry and community in Queensland and beyond.

Queensland Government is committed to playing its part in the global effort to address climate change with set targets to reach net zero emissions, the Queensland Jobs and Energy Plan, commitment for a climate positive Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games and more.

The project comprises five initiatives including local events in Brisbane and the regions, an International Mission to the Verge Climate Tech Event in San Francisco, a Women in Climate Tech Fellowship and the ability to track Queensland’s growth through an annual Queensland Climate Tech Report.
