The Federal Government has released further guidance regarding the JobKeeper Alternative Test. This is for businesses that failed to pass the basic 30% reduction test for JobKeeper. You only need to pass one of the alternative tests, as well as all other eligibility requirements.

Early access to superannuation 

The Government is allowing individuals affected by the Coronavirus to access up to $10,000 of their superannuation in 2019-20 and a further $10,000 in 2020-21.

Tourism Business Support

COVID-19 advice for liquor and gaming licensees

The Queensland Government has activated an Immediate Industry Recovery Package to help local businesses and industry who are dealing with the effects of COVID-19 (coronavirus). As part of this, the renewal fees for Queensland registered inbound tour operators which fall due between 1 February 2020 and 31 July 2020 will be waived for 12 months.

Queensland Boarder Closure information

The restrictions are to stop all non-essential travel into and within Queensland. Travelling for holidays is considered "non-essential travel". Border access is for residents returning home, commerce and health/essential workers. The main border crossings with be manned by police, TMR and other QG officers who will be stopping each vehicle.
